It feels like all we do is work...and we love our work. I LOVE my work. But it is nice to take some time and do fun stuff together as a family. We finally decided it's time to initiate the kids into the live music realm, and we had two weekends in a row of it! We took them to the Not Strictly Bluegrass Festival in Golden Gate Park, it was so much fun. Dirty and crowded, but fun, and PLENTY of 'different' people to watch. We were able to see one of our favorites, Sam Beam from Iron and Wine, and Isaac was excited that he knew a couple of the songs...Avi was very busy flailing about. By the end Avi and I had to do some twirling to some crazy fun Gypsy/Russian/Latin madness. Super fun. Isaac played frisbee with the boys.
The second set of photos is our past weekend with our beloved LA family friends, the Clarks. Steve is in a Kindie Rock band called Egg (www.eggmusic.net) and we saw him play twice! Super fun, and the turn outs were great! Looks like they'll be coming back here to play again in a few months!
Sam Beam of Iron and Wine...he was on his way to the Port-A-Potty....I used my zoom.
Avi is feelin it.
Get into it girl.
Avi's feet at the end of the GG Park festival. Yummy.
See! I exist in front of the camera too! Andy took this for us.
I got hit in the back of the head minutes after this shot. Isaac swears it was not on purpose, but he's got the most amazing precision, so I don't believe it for a second.
