Fun at home - Amy Perl Oakland Photographer

It's true, I LOVE doing home portrait sessions. It's so nice to be able to hang out with the kiddos to see their rooms, to see how they play, play dress up,hug their parents. Don't get me wrong, photographing in all settings is great, but to be able to get a glimpse of different lives, and to take my shoes off and be creative...it's great.

It's finally here! Avi is now in kindergarten....can't believe it. I can't believe she's almost 5. So much has happened in all of our lives from the moment I found out I was pregnant with her...until now. Amazing how fast it all happens. How did my Isaac become a 3rd grader? When did that happen? He was just a fat baby a few months ago it seems....

So, as we know, living here in the Bay Area, the summer weather in San Francisco is not always predictable. Although it's not always the worst thing, because sometimes it really helps with the photos! I love fog, and I love fog near the GG Bridge. So dramatic.
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph these three girls, totally fun, uninhibited...makes my job EASY. I had a great time chasing them around, in and out of the water, it was great. And I'm so excited, but in a few weeks I get to chase them around their home and do it all over again!
